Unika Balls are much more than a healthy horse toy, they are also a completely new tool to enrich their diet with some important substances. Unika Balls can be hung anywhere so that your horse can play and lick them all day long.

Unika Balls are available in 6 different types to meet the most common needs of horses:

Unika Balls – Elyte: is designed to provide horses with mineral salts, which are essential all year round to replenish the horses’ losses through sweating.

Unika Balls – Gastro: is designed for horses with a sensitive stomach. It contains some important phytotherapeutic ingredients, such as charcoal and liquorice, which are useful to maintain the well-being of the stomach. Unika Balls Gastro is a valuable ally for all horses that somatize anxiety as stomach upsets, as it stimulates the production of saliva, which is alkaline and therefore naturally counteracts the acidity of the stomach.

Unika Balls – Herbs: contains a mix of balsamic herbs, such as thyme, rosemary and mint.

Unika Balls – Prequalm: contains magnesium, passion flower and lemon balm and is therefore designed for all horses that want to increase their serenity and better control their emotions.

Unika Balls – Endurance: contains fatty raw materials and also helps to keep the horse hydrated during the competition. Coconut oil (MCT) means that energy can be obtained from fatty substances without generating lactic acid. Electrolytes compensate for the significant loss of salts through sweating. Magnesium and amino acids help to reduce the presence of muscle lactic acid, which promotes intestinal motility.

Unika Balls – Crib Biting; contains plant substances that improve saliva production by physiologically increasing the amount of saliva produced. Saliva is alkaline and therefore, once in the stomach, helps to physiologically reduce stomach acidity, thus improving the overall well-being of the horse. Improving stomach conditions in crib-biting horses results in an increase in their live weight, an improvement in their coat shine and an improvement in both their appearance and their overall well-being.

Unika Balls are handmade, made in Italy products, which are made of 93% vegetable ingredients. They are rich in fine raw materials, such as rice and soy, and do not contain cereals or sugars: that is why they may also be provided to cereal-intolerant horses, horses eating low glycemic index diets and sporthorses carrying out intense muscular activity. Indeed, sporthorses’ sugar intake should be reduced as much as possible, for sugars would increase lactic acid production.
