Properties of the components: Prequalm contains an extremely high concentration of L-tryptophan, an amino acid that changes into serotonin in the body, also known as "the lucky hormone". L-tryptophan is also a precursor to melatonin, the substance that regulates sleep and wake cycles, and generates rest. Tryptophan has a direct influence on the character of the horse. Tryptophan is an essential amino acid; the body cannot make it independently: it can only be taken through food and supplementation. Prequalm does not cause addiction: the experience over the years shows that horses are awake and alert even after administration of high doses. The product is supplemented with magnesium citrates, which are completely water-soluble and ensure a high availability of magnesium.
