Stephens Continental German Hackamore - 15cm

The Stephens Continental German Hackamore is a powerful tool for bitless riding and can also be used in combination with a bit. Due to its long shanks, this hackamore applies pressure to the nose through leverage, with intensity depending on the length of the shanks and the type of noseband.

This German hackamore features a rubber-covered chain noseband for enhanced grip and comfort. The reins attach to the bottom of the shanks, creating nose pressure, making it an excellent choice for horses that struggle with a bit or are particularly sensitive.

Important: Proper fitting is crucial to prevent pressure points, nerve damage, or restricted breathing. The hackamore replaces the noseband and should be placed slightly lower than a cavesson, ensuring it rests on a solid part of the horse’s nose without pressing on the soft cartilage below.

Not suitable for inexperienced riders or horses.
