The Kentucky Achilles Gel Socks are light and very comfortable riding socks with a soft sole and a layer of strong shock absorbing gel at the Achilles tendon. The socks relieve a painful, tired or injured Achilles tendon caused by the zipper of the riding boot or the pressure of the spurs on the zipper. The shock absorbing gel slowly releases medicinal grade mineral oil that softens and moisturizes the skin. If the gel sticks too much, sprinkle some talcum powder on the gel.
