Woolpad

Woolpads are used as pads on horses' legs for various skin problems, and swollen legs and for preventing injuries as well as healing mudfever.  The magic in the unwashed wool is the lanolin oil that is naturally in sheep’s wool. Lanolin has many health benefits and is, for instance, used in a lot of baby products. Wool has been used for centuries for treating cuts and swelling, Wool regulates body temperature and is therefore suitable for both cold and warm weather. Wool increases blood flow and is breathable and biodegradable.

How to use the Woolpad?

No water is needed! It is important to keep the Woolpad dry to get the wanted results. Wrap the Wool Pad around the horse's dry leg like a stable wrap and wrap a bandage around it. Make sure to cover the entire Woolpad. You can leave the woolpad on all night. We recommend using Woolpad every day for 2-4 weeks for best results. Because of the lanolin, you don't have to add liniment or other products to the legs. The pad provides the healing.
