Sweet Iron
- Sweet Iron Gebisse bestehen aus Blaustahl und bilden durch Kontakt mit Speichel eine süßlich schmeckende Oberflächenrostschicht, die die Speichelproduktion des Pferdes auf natürliche Weise anregt. Dieser süße Oberflächenrost sorgt dafür, dass das Pferd mehr schäumt und das Gebiss besser annimmt.
- Wenn ein Sweet Iron Gebiss vorübergehend nicht benutzt wird, kann sich auf dem Mundstück eine orange-braune Rostschicht bilden. Diese lässt sich leicht durch Abwischen mit einem feuchten Tuch entfernen.
Unterlegtrense
Ein Unterlegtrense wird immer zusammen mit einem Dressurkandare verwendet und nennt sich Trense mit zwei Gebissen.
Diese Kombination aus zwei Gebissen wird hauptsächlich in den höheren Dressurklassen eingesetzt.
Dressurkandare & Unterlegtrense
- Ein Dressurkandare wird in Kombination mit einer Kandarenkette verwendet und wirkt hebelnd. Die Stärke der Einwirkung wird durch die Länge der Schenkel bestimmt.
Je länger die Schenkel, desto schärfer die Wirkung. - Ein Unterlegtrense ist ein Gebiss mit kleineren Ringen, damit genug Platz für das Dressurkandare bleibt und die Hebelwirkung nicht behindert wird.
- Für eine Kombination aus zwei Gebissen wird ein spezieller Trensenzaum für die Doppellonge oder ein zusätzlicher Backenriemen benötigt.
- Eine Doppellonge sollte nur von sehr erfahrenen Reitern verwendet werden.
